Which type of businesses need a licence?
All sorts of businesses need a licence from FPRA. Businesses such as hotels, nightclubs, bars, restaurants, retail outlets, cinemas, radio and TV stations all require a licence for the use of copyright musical in their business or on their telephone as music on hold.

What should I do?
If you are playing music in your business or on your telephone as music on hold, you need to complete the relevant licence application and return it to FPRA as soon as possible along with payment of the applicable licence fee. Annual licence fees can vary according to your particular use of music and are detailed in the pdf licence agreements below.

Licence Application Forms:

General Business Background Music - for performances occurring by CD, radio, TV, jukebox
Hotels/Resorts - for performances in public areas and guest rooms of hotels/resorts
Music on Hold - for performances of music over the telephone as music on hold
Live Artist Performers - for performances of live music by bands, groups, soloists or dancers
